Establish and implement a strategic quality plan, identifying specific targets for improvement to meet certification requirements of Customers, maintain ISO meetings, audits and follow up requirements, perform supplier audits and plan for continuous process improvement.

At least 8 years experience in Quality Control/Assurance in metal trades manufacturing.
At least 3 year Quality experience in decision making professional or managerial position.
Significant accomplishment in implementing/maintaining a quality program that meets ISO requirements.

Effective oral and written Communication skills tailored to target audience.
Degree in quality/engineering/manufacturing related areas.
Certification by ASQ as Quality Engineer preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Office/laboratory work setting.
Mobility to move about manufacturing facility to inspect operations.
Visual acuity to read gauges and dials.
Dexterity to operate precision instruments and input data on computer keyboard.
Communication skills to use telephone to communicate with Customers and co-workers.
Ability to use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection.
Tolerance for noisy, hot manufacturing environment that may include some aerosol mists from washing/painting and welding activities, and cooling/cutting fluids from machinery operation.
